Your role at Otovo

Senior/Head of Project Management (f/m/d)

  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Location: Brussels, min. 50% office preferred

Your responsibilities

  • As Senior/Head of Otovo Project Management you will be responsible for setting up and leading operations in Belgium.
  • From day one you will lead in developing and executing our project management operations and strategy.
  • Using your experience and leadership skills, you will lead the recruitment and training of additional (junior) project managers as our team grows.
  • Using your personal and managerial skills, create a collaborative team culture based on trust, communication and clear, measurable goals.
  • In this high-paced function you and your team will be responsible for meeting weekly and monthly targets for throughput, quality and customer satisfaction through:
  • Managing solar installations projects on a daily basis.
  • Following-up with external subcontractors in the Belgian market.
  • Performing quality control of solar installations and subcontractor deliveries.
  • Interacting with customers, subcontractors and public authorities to ensure a smooth process.
  • Managing and following-up with customers in the Belgian market.

What we look for

  • You are a candidate with strong personal drive, integrity and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in the Belgian residential or commercial solar PV market as a project manager.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in construction or electrical installations with a good understanding of end-to-end processes and ability to manage a multitude of deliverables on a daily basis will also be considered.
  • You thrive in a high-energy work environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • You are dedicated to quality, systematic work and well-documented work processes.
  • You are a clear communicator. We expect you to be able to listen and understand as well as to make sure you are understood and clear.
  • You are results oriented, have an intuitive understanding for prioritization, and know that keeping the customer informed and satisfied is always important.
  • Ability to coach junior colleagues, helping them build their professional skills.
  • Candidates with a technical education in PV systems, and/or hands-on experience within the Belgian residential PV market or construction industry have an advantage.
  • Experience working within a digital/hybrid environment at a scale up or fast-growing organization is a pro.
  • Fluent in Dutch, and also preferably French, proficient in written and spoken English.
