Otovo is looking for a driven Senior Technical Specialist who delivers results every day and is passionate about solar energy. You will join a fast growing, well funded start-up with ambitious goals for international expansion. As of today, we have offices in Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Germany and Poland. You will be responsible for the technical support team here in Scandinavia supporting our customers in cooperation with our installation partners.

Your main responsibilities as Senior Technical Specialist

As a Senior Technical Specialist you will be in a high-paced job focused on high quality and customer satisfaction, responsible for meeting targets for yourself and the Scandinavian technical support team

• Solve complex challenges and issues for our Norwegian and Swedish customers
• Take an active part in identifying and implementing support excellence
• Manage and motivate the technical support team to always strive for high customer satisfaction and fast response times
• Follow-up our installation partners on timeliness and quality
• Be one of our internal go-to-persons for technical advice

Desired skills and experience

You are a candidate with strong personal drive, integrity and attention to detail. You have previous experience with customer support and technical problem solving. You are dedicated to quality, systematic work and well-documented work processes. You have an intuitive understanding for prioritization, and know that keeping the customer informed and satisfied is always number one.

• Technical background within civil/electrical/energy engineering and/or experience as an electrician, solar installer etc.
• 2-3 years practical experience with solar energy, electrical engineering, installations and/or constructional work
• Knowledge of low-voltage installations incl. relevant norms and rules such as NEK400, FEL etc.
• Experience from solving complex technical issues and improving customer satisfaction
• Ability to execute and be hands on, while engaging and leading a team
• Fluent in Norwegian and/or Swedish, and proficient in English
