We are now looking for an experienced Field Service Manager to lead and develop our Field Service operations in Sweden.

Role Overview

As a Field Service Manager, you will lead Otovo's Field Service operations in Sweden. Acting as the link between Field Service Technicians, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, and other internal stakeholders, you will ensure technicians have the equipment, spare parts, and operational support they need to deliver an excellent customer experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role. While your primary responsibility is coordinating and managing field operations, you should also be comfortable supporting technicians on-site whenever operational needs require it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Swedish Field Service Technician team.

  • Coordinate daily field operations and technician scheduling.

  • Act as the main interface between Field Service, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, and other internal teams.

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure technicians have the necessary spare parts, tools, PPE, and equipment.

  • Order materials, spare parts, and equipment while working closely with Supply Chain.

  • Monitor field performance, quality standards, KPIs, and customer satisfaction.

  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to technicians.

  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and complex service cases.

  • Visit customer sites when required to support technicians or resolve escalated technical issues.

  • Ensure compliance with Swedish electrical safety regulations and company procedures.

  • Drive continuous improvements in field service processes.

Requirements

Required

  • Completed Upper Secondary Electrician Programme (El- och energiprogrammet – inriktning Elteknik) or an equivalent electrical qualification recognized in Sweden.

  • ECY Certificate (ECY-certifikat) or equivalent documented electrical competence recognized in Sweden.

  • Eligible to perform electrical installation work in Sweden under the applicable Elsäkerhetsverket regulations.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with residential PV systems, battery storage systems, and EV chargers.

  • Previous experience leading technicians, coordinating field operations, or managing service teams.

  • Experience with inventory management, spare parts planning, and supplier coordination.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Valid Category B driving licence.

  • Fluent Swedish and good English.

Nice to Have

  • SolarEdge Certified Installer.

  • Working at Heights / Fall Protection certification.

  • Experience working with Swedish Distribution System Operators (DSOs).

  • Experience using ERP, CRM, or Field Service Management software.

Employment is based on a standard 40-hour working week, with overtime compensated in accordance with applicable legislation and company policy.
