We need your help

Due to solid growth, Otovo has determined to establish a new marketing hub in Madrid which will cover SEO, Performance Marketing, Design and Content creation for some of the group's markets.Accordingly, Otovo is seeking a Head of SEO responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for some of our key markets. We are transitioning from using local SEO agencies to an in-house agency set up, and the Head of SEO will lead a team of 5+ regional SEO specialists as direct reports.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for Otovo's key markets to increase organic search traffic and revenue.
• Recruit and lead a team of 5+ regional SEO specialists and manage their daily activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct keyword research, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Optimize Otovo's website structure, content, and technical elements to improve search visibility and user experience.
• Develop and implement link building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure SEO activities are aligned with broader business objectives.
• Collaborate with the sales and product teams.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and algorithm updates to ensure Otovo remains at the forefront of SEO best practices.

Who we think you are:

• Currently based or willing to relocate to Madrid
• Professional level of English
• Extensive SEO experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful SEO campaigns and improving organic search traffic.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and mentoring SEO specialists.
• Experience working with local markets and a deep understanding of local SEO best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify key insights and opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, including website architecture, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with link building, including identifying high-quality backlink opportunities and developing effective outreach strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong understanding of broader marketing concepts and how SEO fits within a wider marketing strategy.
• A passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and a desire to continually learn and develop.
