DESCRIPTION TEAM AND POSITION

Interim Technology and  Sustainability Manager

Employment type: Temporary, full time

Period: March 1st to September 1st  2023

Location: Oslo office based. Our offices are near the city center

You report to: Head of Sustainability and VP Supply Chain

Who we think you are:

A doer with a focus on throughput and with an ability to execute tasks efficiently. A person who enjoys getting stuff moving, with good communication and execution skills. You are a person interested in working in a scale-up company as well as with renewable energy. If you are a technical person or are interested in technology it is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

As Interim Technology & Sustainability Manager you will be responsible for:

• Whitelisting new manufacturers. Background - Otovo maintains a Whitelist of approved hardware manufacturers. To be one the Whitelist the manufacturer must meet our requirements on quality, sustainability, bankability and reliability. It is your responsibility to execute on this.
• Maintaining and updating expired Whitelist compliance documentation
• Adding / removing hardware assortment in the markets, and adding new models of Otovo Whitelisted brands.
• Creating and maintaining hardware compatibility in our system to make sure we only sell sets of compatible products
• Mapping and evaluating manufacturers based on an ESG and sustainability scorecard to define which will become part of our assortment
• Support carbon accounting and other sustainability measures

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Within commuting distance of our office in Oslo
• You have previous work experience from the solar industry and are familiar with PV technology.

• You have a degree within one of the following topics: renewable energy, engineering or sustainability
