Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Sales Manager to join our talented team in Milan.

About the role

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for spearheading Otovo’s B2C growth in Italy and managing a team of sales representatives.

Your responsabilities

  • Support our B2C customers via phone and email in the transition to solar energy;
  • identify customer needs, create pitches targeted to the Italian market, understand and monitor the competitive landscape;
  • lead by example: build and execute an ambitious sales targets, helping the team in reaching their goals;
  • train and coach incoming and existing sales representatives helping them succeed and grow;
  • set and help execute clear individual and team goals, plan activities and develop country-specific sales procedures;
  • work very close to the Head of Sales to identify and implement successful strategies leading to higher conversion rates;
  • use analytical skills to analyze data and market trends in order to identify key actions and correct or implement processes to help the team reaching the target;
  • deliver on company KPIs and targets;
  • collaborate with other internal departments in order to ensure the sustainability of the processes, rowing all together toward the same goal;
  • set up processes to scale up with new partners identified by the partnership team;
  • be in continuous contact with peers in other markets to share and implement best practices;
  • you and your team will be provided with qualified leads, who registered their interest in buying solar systems on the Otovo website. No cold calling will be required.

Job Requirements

  • A doer with a hands-on mentality.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or customer success experience, preferably within renewable energy or construction.
  • Experience in team management.
  • University degree or a professional commercial training.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as Hubspot.
  • Clear and convincing communication skills.
  • Coaching and leadership skills.
  • A results oriented mindset, courage to question the status quo and come up with out of the box solutions.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
