Sales Representative

We are looking for a determined sales consultant who knows how to create good customer experiences and has a passion for renewable energy. We would prefer you have sales experience and some technical understanding.

You will be based in Milan and work for a unique company with ambitious goals in one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide.

About the role

As a Sales Representative your main task will be to advise individual customers on the benefits of solar energy, both for their finances and our planet. You will help the customer tailor a solar solution to meet their needs, and your communication skills will be your best tool for getting customers to choose Otovo. This work will focus on phone calls with client prospects interested in our services.

Your responsibilities

  • convince our B2C customers via phone and e-mail to switch to solar energy, following their request for a quote on our website. Forget prospecting! At OTOVO, it is the customers who come to us;
  • develop, in dialogue with the customer, a perfectly adapted solar project, finding the decisive arguments according to requirements;
  • develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our solutions to meet the needs of our contacts
  • keep track of all communication with contacts in our CRM system

Job requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience: phone-based and self-incentivized to meet ambitious goals and targets
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills: listening and explanatory skills
  • Good knowledge of English to coordinate with other Otovo teams internationally
  • Enjoy working in teams: expect to give and learn from your colleague
  • Knowledge of solar energy is a plus but not a requirement. You will get good training

Hiring process

  1. Screening phase
  2. 1st interview where we get to know each other (remote)
  3. 2nd interview will consist in a Role Play with you future manager to understand your skills (remote)
  4. Final interview with the Italian GM at our office!

Type of contract: full-time

In addition to your fixed salary, a variable part will be added if you reach your sales objectives.
